Multi-Measure Energy Efficiency and Building Retrofit Planning

NEON’s cornerstone will be the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) planning tool for performing a holistic techno-economic analysis of multi-measure energy efficiency and building retrofit to be leveraged for service offer specification (e.g., under EPC/ESC).

For potential energy efficiency measures, NEON will evaluate opportunities for upgrading building energy supply, operation efficiency, and building smartness towards integration for data acquisition and control.

On the energy supply side, NEON will leverage a web-enabled decision support tool Energy Warden Simulator (EWS), for optimal selection and dimensioning of hybrid Renewable Energy Sources (RES) system configuration, delivered by IMP partner.

It considers various configurations of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) and storage assets and their different sizes and capacities based on linear-programming techniques.
